Our Office Care Guidelines
Our Goal
The Goal in our Office is to assist our clients and move them from signs and symptom based care to cause based care. Our care plans are designed to address the cause of one’s health challenge and assist the individual on correcting these challenges.
Our Phases of Care1. Initial Crisis care (ICC)- This phase of care is focused on calming the nervous system and restoring balance. Pain relief is usually the main outcome of this type of care. During this phase of care chiropractic adjustments along with therapies to aid in calming the inflammatory responses of the nervous system will be used. Care is usually more frequent during this phase of care as we attempt to jump start the nervous system into proper functioning.
2. Initial Stabilization Care (ISC)- This phase of care is where most of the healing processes take place. Chiropractic adjustments along with forms of biofeedback and neurofeedback are used to retrain the nervous system to make new and proper patterns and get rid of old maladaptive patterns that are not sufficient for optimal functioning. Care is less frequent but the client’s role shifts from a more passive role to a more active role. 3. Peak Performance Care (PPC)- This phase of care is focused on maintaining your optimal health potential that has been obtained during ISC. We know that our daily lives and activities can be a constant form of stress on our systems, now that an individual has the tools to manage their reactions to these stressors the chiropractic adjustments given during this phase of care keeps the nervous system properly balanced so the individual can continue functioning at their peak! |
Our RulesWe know that in order for optimal healing to occur an individual must commit to going through the three phases of care in order to gain and maintain optimal health. We also know that not everyone will commit to reaching optimal health. Whatever your healthcare goals are, our office will work toward helping you achieve them. We do however have a few rules in place for those who decide to stop care before they reach Peak Performance:
1. Don’t blame our office for not “fixing” your health challenge when your problem returns. We will inform you of what it will take to correct your challenge and it is your choice to follow the plan or not! We know that if the nervous system is not balanced your challenges will reoccur at some point (we don’t know when), but they will and when they do they will typically be worse and last longer. 2. Be considerate and call us if you are not going to make your appointment. We want to make time for those who value their care! Our appointment times are valuable to us and allow us to give the care needed to those wanting our services. 3. At any time you decide you want to go through the three phases of care to achieve Peak Performance just let us know! We will readdress your situation and make the appropriate care plan advice for your situation at that time. The one Question to ask yourself is what type of care do you want? Would you like care that only deals with your symptoms and leaves the cause? Or would you like care that addresses the cause of your challenges? |
