New Client Procedures and Paperwork:
Our office is committed to educating our clients on the benefits of neurologically based chiropractic care and the role it has in their lifestyle. Our office is different then any other chiropractic clinic in this area and we take pride in that. With that being said we know not everyone is going to want to go through the steps that we require to become a client in our office. Please read the following information to understand our process of accepting someone into our practice.
Paperwork
Upon entering the office you will have some brief paperwork to fill out. The paperwork provides us with general information about you and your lifestyle along with the healthcare goals you want assistance with.
Consultation
Once you have completed your paperwork the doctor will review your concerns and answer any question you may have. At that time the doctor will discuss the types of care we offer in our office and get your commitment to move forward with care or determine if a referral is needed.
Examination
You will have a 12 minute computerized test, called the NeuroInfiniti SRE, a totally non-invasive exam using an instrument found in research facilities around the world. Sensors are attached to your skin in such areas as your shoulder muscles, the top of your head, your forearms, and your hands. From this computerized test, we can compare your neurological response and recovery to stress challenges. It is an effective and accurate method of measuring how your nervous system is adapting and responding. You will also perform a basic motion and movement evaluation.
X-ray Studies
X-rays are taken on all clients with only a few exceptions. X-ray allows the doctor to better assess your structural framework, determine if certain adaptive patterns have developed, assist in developing the most effective care plans, and help rule out more serious conditions.
First Day Care
When finished with the examination and all appropriate studies you will be set up on a passive therapy the doctor feels is best for your situation to help promote healing, decrease inflammation, and reduce muscle spasm. A chiropractic adjustment will not be performed until after your second visit and report of findings. This allows the doctor to review your examination and x-ray findings and determine the proper course of care specific for your needs.
Home Instructions
Prior to leaving, clients will be given a reading assignment to help them better understand the information that the doctor will review with them about their results on their second visit, instructions on certain activities or procedures to be done at home to help promote healing, decrease inflammation, and reduce muscle spasm.
Second Day Care
Your second visit will consist of a report of findings which will explain the following:
